MAY MADNESS!
A belated greeting from the Bartons. This is
just a quick update;
there will be more in a couple of weeks.Since April 10th, we have
had wonderful opportunities to share Jesus’ love in a variety
of places.
My first trip to Protection, KS to share with Randy and Darla
Durrim at First Baptist Church went well. The folks there were
wonderful and we had great turnouts each night. Then it was on
to visits Trammel Creek Baptist in Greensburg, KY. Pastor Lee
and Debbie Warf are doing a great work there and again the turnout
was wonderful with the Lord moving in some meaningful ways.
I returned for a week and a half at home and was almost immediately
called to forest fires. I left the fires to join Melva and head
to Abell Community Church in Guthrie, OK with Pastor Van Hudson…
I really love these folks. We have shared together for many years
now
and
the Lord has always touched our hearts. The morning after returning
from OK I was asked to go to another fire. I’m still working
on that fire.
Thanks for your prayers and support! We have been able to give
out many New Testaments including a number to firefighters and
have done a fire chapel already. I’ve shared my testimony
with several firefighters and the plan of salvation with at least
one.
Family is doing well, more to come…..Rick and Melva
